Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible gastroenterologist to join our practice, Northeast Gastroenterology in Salem, NH.
Conveniently located on the NH/MA border, 45 mins from the beautiful coast and majestic mountains and 25 minutes from Boston.
Northeast Gastroenterology is a well established practice with a strong and rapidly growing referral base that serves Southern NH and The Merrimack Valley.

There is no hospital call or coverage required. No Pediatric patients.

We offer a balanced schedule with clinic and procedures. Outpatient procedures are performed at the Orchard Surgical Center, a state of the art ambulatory facility.

Physical Therapist – Full Time

At Apple Therapy, we provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic conditions. We are looking for an experienced or new graduate orthopedic physical therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with orthopedic conditions, and will be able to provide a high level of care. We can provide training and mentoring for a new graduate. He or she will be responsible for developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and evaluating patients. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work well with other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve patients by designing and implementing physical therapy programs that promote functional, occupational, and emotional well-being
  • Evaluate patients’ abilities, limitations, and potential using tests and measures appropriate for the individual and condition being treated
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and expected outcomes
  • Modify treatments in response to patients’ progress or changes in condition
  • Educate patients and families about self-care and preventative measures
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Keep accurate records of patients’ progress and communicate updates to patients, families, and referring physicians
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to keep abreast of new developments in the field
  • Serve as a resource to patients, families, and other professionals regarding orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and best interests

Schedule: 3 days in Manchester, NH location and 2 days at Londonderry, NH location, Monday and Friday 8am-4pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11am-7pm. No weekends, details will be ironed out with candidate when offer is present.

Otolaryngologist

We are looking for an otolaryngologist to be responsible for treating conditions of the ear, throat, and nose. The responsibilities of an otolaryngologist include treating conditions, examining affected organs, and performing tests to determine the degree of hearing loss, speech loss, or injuries to the larynx.

To be successful as an otolaryngologist, you should demonstrate an ability to work under stressful conditions, be compassionate, and work well within a team. Ultimately, a top-notch Otolaryngologist should have good listening skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Treating conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck.
  • Treating nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis.
  • Assisting patients with a limited or altered sense of smell.
  • Treating patients with tumors in the head or neck or patients with a defect in the ear, nose, or throat.
  • Collaborating with other medical practitioners.

Requirements

  • A medical degree.
  • Must have completed an otolaryngology residency.
  • Must have a medical license.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.
  • Good organizational ability.
  • The ability to work well alone and within a team.

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

ExpressMED, LLC is an occupational medicine and urgent care facility with locations in Manchester and Salem, NH. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assisting the clinical and administrative functions of ExpressMED to deliver the highest quality of occupational medicine and acute patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent, and non‐urgent. Provide episodic care to patients following accepted standards and protocols.
  • Select, order, perform and interpret tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient condition and augment physical findings.
  • Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patient.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury.
  • Perform procedures including laceration repair, orthopedics, and provide referrals to medical specialists.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart including follow‐up notes.

Requirements

  • Medical/ARNP/MSPAS degree from accredited university.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an urgent care or emergency department setting.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in occupational medicine.
  • State and federal licensure requirements. Nationally certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. To include DEA, State of NH License. State of Massachusetts License a plus.
  • Understanding of medical coding and billing.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and others.
  • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to train and evaluate new and current provider staff.
  • DOT Certification a plus.
  • BLS/ACLS/certification

Physicians Assistant

Busy ENT specialty office is pleased to offer an open position for a Physicians Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • 1 or more years of experience, preferntially in the ENT specialty, to work in our clinical setting.
  • Work directly and in person with patients, in collaboration and autonomously, to diagnose, to provide treatment, to evaluate necessity for testing or surgical intervention, to provide follow up care, and to perform pre operative and post operative appointments when required in the ENT specialty field.
  • ENT experience preferred, but not required, as the doctor will extensively train the right canidate.
  • Degree from accredited educational Physicians Assistant program, New Hampshire licensure and DEA license are required.

Medical Director

The Medical Director will, in collaboration with other practice providers, clinical and administrative staff, develop, implement and evaluate the medical practice delivery model in accordance with the goals of NCM&W’s mission and values. The Medical Director shares administrative functions that directly impact medical services and collaborates with the practice team in overall planning. The Medical Director ensures delivery of quality services to all patients and provides appropriate health care to the clients, maintaining professional standards of care.

Responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Interviewing patients to obtain history, performing physical examination, ordering lab and other tests, prescribing medications and treatments.
  • Providing continuity in managed care for patients with pre-existing and new chronic conditions.
  • Making referrals for secondary and tertiary care.
  • Performing medical procedures, providing health maintenance visits, evaluating for immunizations, and providing anticipatory guidance and referrals; provides initial assessment and manages follow up care for worker’s comp encounters; supervises the contract and special physical examinations for DOT, Head Start, employment, etc; performing STD and family planning screening and education.
  • Oversees the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.
  • Works as an integral member of the team caring for patients with chronic pain.
  • Documenting all patient contact and coding accurately in electronic medical record.
  • Performing as an active member of the medical team.

Professional Support/Supervision

  • Provides medical direction and administration including, but not limited to, developing clinical practice guidelines.
  • Supervising physicians and mid-levels.
  • Performing quality assurance activities.
  • Reporting to and collaboration with Clinic Leadership Team and Executive Team.
  • Participating and directing provider and medical care team meetings.
  • Establishing linkage with pharmacy, dental care, and community referral entities, social support resources to improve and expand the scope of serves available through community referrals.
  • Working with agency businesses, dental, pharmacy, and lab managers to address mutual concerns.
  • Establishes positive relationships with local medical community and attends local medical society functions.
  • Provides executive team leadership to clinical and administrative staff.
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service and support; organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines; and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, education, racial,
    ethnic and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively with managers, co-workers, members of the public and professional groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely with others (internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing), consistently demonstrate positive/proactive customer service attitude.
